Flacon Redesign
A redesign of a Comme des Garçons fragrance bottle, exploring how the character of a scent can be translated into a physical object through form, material and proportion.

This project started with the relationship between the fragrance and its physical expression. Initial research into user reviews revealed an interesting contrast: the fragrance itself was highly appreciated, while the bottle received comparatively less positive feedback.
I analysed the individual notes of the fragrance and translated their sensory qualities into a visual and physical language. From this exploration, I developed an organic, sculptural form inspired by wood and stone, while drawing on the distinctive and unconventional character of Comme des Garçons and its Foamposite-inspired aesthetic.
The result is a tactile object that aims to make the character of the fragrance tangible through form, material and proportion, rather than relying solely on conventional perfume-bottle aesthetics.
